| Start
a Chapter
Attention students and educators. KARE
4 Kidz has a new program called K-Pasa which
is your gateway to share all the happenings
in your school and community. K-Pasa
is more than an idea - it's a movement.
Students from schools around the would can
link up and share community service ideas,
collaborate on projects, post exciting news
about awards and achievements, and much
more.
Starting a chapter is easy. There is no cost
to start a chapter, and absolutely anyone
can do it. Simply complete the
registration info, include and advisor, and
put your group together. KARE 4 Kidz
will send you a welcome packet with all the
information that you will need to operate
you chapter. You will have everything
you need to conduct meetings, plan service
projects, and share information about your
chapter with other chapters around the
country.
K-Pasa is a fun way for students to
communicate. K-Pasa is a network of
good deeds. K-Pasa is 'what's
happening' in your world. K-Pasa is
all about you.
Steps to Starting a Chapter:
-
Contact a school a teacher or school
administrator and ask them to be your
chapter's sponsor/counselor.
-
Tell all your friends and classmates
about K-Pasa. Perhaps you may want
to post signs (if allowed in your
school) and hold an interest meeting.
You will need at least 10-12 students to
run an effective chapter.
-
Sign up all students who are interested
in participating. From this group
you will need to elect students willing
to serve as officers: President, Vice
President, Secretary, Treasurer, Service
Chairperson.
-
Register your chapter on the KARE 4 Kidz
website.
You will then be given all the information
you will need to start your road to
community service. |
