The KTV or Kzone TV project is another media arts program based on the KARE radio model. This projects main segment is the production of an arts and variety show that will spotlight local teen talent from the community, provide open forum discussion of teen issues, and educate kids in the process of television production.  It will feature interviews and news about local arts events and be produced and run by a selected group of area teens. Musicians, thespians, and dancers will all have an venue showcase there talents in the community via this unique variety show


 

As the second installment of KARE 4 kidz broadcast arts program, this program will focus on local youth and youth related activities. It will cover a variety of topics and encourage teens to seek positive, productive avenues of self-expression.  The group forum will allow students to take part in open discussions and tackle issues that affect their environment and their individual lives. With the supervision and guidance of local youth counselors and professionals, this unique program will be

hosted by local teens. In its pilot stages, the program will air at least on new episode per month. A lateral benefit of the program will be its ability to reach and serve the community by providing messages of prevention, encouraging youth involvement, building self-esteem and responsibility, and opening lines of communication between youth and adults.  The program's ability to be flexible yet structured, entertaining while informative, and candid but also respectfully allowing youth to develop into into free thinkers, will be imperative to its success.
