Kreative Arts
Our Kreative Arts program is designed to not only teach youth artists techniques and proper use of materials but, it also gives them an introduction to past art masters and their works of arts. Participants view past creations and get information about the artist’s life and education. The students review a variety of style periods and while learning the basic elements that define each art decade.
The students complete a number of projects from 2-dimensional designs to 3D, paper and sculpted designs. Each project incorporates additional design elements and materials in an effort to provide the young artist with hands-on experience in a variety of artistic media. The program is usually conducted with support of local after school programs and takes about 9-12 weeks to complete. At the end of each program, the artists are able to display their work in a public forum by participating in a KARE ART SHOW. These shows are usually held at a school or local arts museum. In addition, many of these youth artists are able to have their artwork displayed online via the KARE 4 Kidz website.
