As a nonprofit professional serving in a capacity of Executive Director, one of my main responsibilities and perhaps my most important duty is fundraising.  This is a necessary component of any organization's existence because the fundraising activities support the programs and activities of the organization.  Getting people to support a cause can be a difficult task; however, getting them to support YOUR cause requires distinguishing your organization from the thousands of other causes vying for the same dollar.  The links below are examples of  the 2009 Fundraising campaigns that I designed for the Police Benevolent Foundation, Inc.

Because You Care Campaign
This campaign was developed with the idea of using the people people whom we serve and have benefited from our services as testimonials.  The "asks"
were presented by widows of fallen officers, by law enforcement members, by victims of crime and by people who have demonstrated a need. Each of these people provide examples of donations being put to good use.

Memorabilia Campaign
This campaign featured three World War II and Korean War combat firearms that were re-stored to their original quality.  This is an 18-month campaign broken into (3) parts where participants could purchase raffle tickets via an online web sources for a chance at winning one or all of these items.  To date, this campaign has raised more than $10,000.
