Essays that I have written:  Writing has always been one of the most effective forms of communication, and I learned at an early age that it is important to be able to write in a clear, concise format.   The following essays are examples of my writing style and ability.  They are taken from class assignments as a part of my current curriculum.  They should demonstrate my effectiveness and understanding in academic writing.

 

	Kolb Learning Styles Essay: (Word Doc - HTML) This essay discusses results from a Kolb Learning Styles exercise that was given to our class during a recent course.
	Liberal Arts Essay: (PDF) This essay examines the purpose and usefulness of a Liberal Arts education.  In this assignment, I reviewed a series of articles that summarized the opinions of a few prominent authors and educators, and my goal was to communicate my own thoughts about the role of liberal arts in education.
